Description

ECG Paper: Welch Allyn CP150 - Z Fold 5 x 200 Sheets is a thermal Z-fold ECG chart paper designed for use with Welch Allyn CP150 electrocardiographs and compatible with CP100 and CP200 models. The paper features a red grid on white thermal stock to provide clear, accurate recording of ECG waveforms. Each pad contains 200 Z-fold sheets (approx. 8.5 x 11 inch / 210 x 280 mm), and this product configuration supplies 5 pads per case, giving a total of 1,000 sheets. The Z-fold format ensures smooth feeding through the ECG device and allows reports to be easily handled, filed or stored in patient records. The paper is specifically formulated for ECG thermal printers to ensure consistent image quality and long-term legibility of traces when stored under recommended conditions.

Usage

Verify that the ECG device (CP150/CP100/CP200) is powered off or in standby as recommended before loading paper.
Open the paper compartment of the Welch Allyn CP150 (or compatible model) according to the device user manual.
Place the Z-fold stack into the paper compartment with the thermal side and grid correctly oriented as indicated by the device instructions.
Feed the leading edge of the paper into the printer path up to the designated guide, ensuring the folds sit neatly to allow smooth advance.
Close the paper compartment securely and perform a test print or ECG printout to confirm correct loading and print quality.
Handle printed ECGs carefully and file them in patient records or store in an appropriate document management system.
Do not reuse printed or partially used sheets; discard waste paper in normal paper waste unless contaminated with biological material, in which case follow local waste policies.

Contraindications

Not suitable for use in non-compatible ECG devices that require different paper sizes, formats or roll configurations.
Do not use if paper has been exposed to excessive moisture, heat or physical damage, as this may compromise print quality and legibility.
Not intended for any purpose other than recording ECG traces in compatible devices.
